Hi, I’m Sara! Community builder. Culture designer. Strategy & ops practitioner. Expert-yet-ever-learning facilitator. Mama. Seeker. Friend.

I founded the Interdependence Lab to equip folks in the social impact sector with the tools to build healthier, more equitable, and joyful communities—workplaces included.

With over 18 years of experience in strategy and operations across nonprofits, startups, and Fortune 10 companies—alongside an MBA and a background in sociology and religious studies—I bring both depth and heart to my work.

Using my Responsibly Relational™ framework, I ensure our work together addresses real issues and leads to actionable takeaways, all while keeping humanness, connection, and collective wisdom at the center.

Every team holds untapped wisdom—sometimes, it just takes the right guide to help surface it.

In addition to my experience leading teams and overseeing high-stakes programs, I bring a dynamic toolkit of conflict coaching, sociocracatic principles, collaborative leadership, and liberatory practices from AORTA, Wisdom in Nature, among others. I love collaborating with my clients to clear blocks and co-create new pathways together.

What I bring:

  • A sense of purpose and a sense of humor—meetings with me are focused and fun

  • An equity lens

  • Thoughtful questions that WILL challenge you

  • Structure (with room for improvisation)

  • Plenty of metaphors—especially about food. Forget ‘idea parking lots’—we’ll put hot topics on the stove and let tangents marinate.
